Local media has a very important impact on regional people, so in order to fulfill its functions efficiently, the problems such as economic failure, lack of qualified staff, the news contents being uniform should be solved. Local media workers being worked with low fees, their not having social security and their not working in a suitable conditions cause the incerasing of the existing problems more and more. In this study, it has been aimed to state the socio-democrafic features of the people who work in and media sector, to examine the problems of the local media and to find the opinion of the media workers about the sector.
